Nokia Lumia 620, the basic Windows phone by Nokia is finally out in the market. Ov3er a fortnight late, the phone has been priced at a basic Rs 15,199.Nokia had announced 3 Windows 8 phones in the Lumia series; the flagship Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumi 620. While the 920 and 820 have been in the market since almost a month and a half, the Lumia 620 is a late-entrant.
Nokia promised the Lumia series across every range and the Lumia 620 was supposed to be the budget-conscious man’s option in cell-phones. Pricing it at Rs 15,199, Nokia made a wise decision and the phone we predict will definitely be a favourite in the targeted market.
The phone comes with a 3.8-inch ClearBlack display and a 5 MP camera. While some of the advanced features of the 920 and 820 are missing from Lumia 620, the phone still packs a punch. Under the hood runs a 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon™ S4 processor. The battery is 1300 mAh and Nokia promises 14.6 hours talktime. Also, the phone doesn’t support wireless charging like the 920 and 820.
The phone’s internal memory is 8 GB and it comes with 7 GB SkyDrive storage. Also, the memory can be expanded up to 64 GB using microSD card. Maximum expandable memory is 64 GB. The phone supports all connectivity options and is NFC enabled. Lumia 620 is available in multiple colour options.
The phone is a feature packed phone priced at a minimum and is a great option for first time Windows 8 users.
Though the phone is yet to be available in markets, the pre-orders have begun.
