According to latest reports, it has been revealed that on Monday, MTS launched its promising and eagerly awaited international roaming services for relaxing its pre-paid subscribers.
The roaming services are likely to help users roam across 433 GSM networks in nearly 231 countries. MTS users will now be able to gain services in various nations, including Canada, US Chile, Brazil, France, UK, China, Germany, UAE, Singapore, Australia, Bahrain and New-Zealand. In addition to international roaming services, the company also announced launch of a novel SIM card featuring dual mode, which would efficiently provide services on both popular platforms i. e. on CDMA handsets in India and GSM handsets while roaming overseas.
The company will apparently employ MACH telecom software to smooth the progress of roaming for its pre-paid users all over 433 GSM networks in almost 231 countries.
The company revealed that along with this declaration, MTS is now the first telecom operator in India which provides international data roaming services for its CDMA pre-paid users.
Expressing his happiness over the launch, Leonid Musatov, the Chief Marketing and Sales Officer of MTS India, said that the clear agenda is to enhance the convenience and connectivity. The recently launched services will enable customers stay connected to their friends and families, even while travelling overseas. Also, the services are available for all users and to avail the facilities, they are not required to change their phone numbers.
Finally, Musatov claimed that the upcoming services will provide seamless data connectivity to its users on the go, internationally.
