Zen M25 mobile, gives 72 day standby time

In what appears to be a record of sorts, Zen Mobile has announced the launch of a new handset that boasts of a 72 day or 1728 hours battery standby time. The M25 is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) phone which is priced at Rs. 3400.

The phone has decent regular features including a 1.3MP camera, FM radio, FM recorder, Bluetooth, 3.5mm jack. It has a 2.4 inch TFT display screen and supports two languages-English and Hindi.

The memory of the M25 can be expanded up to 4GB. The phone is equipped with 2500 mAh battery giving a talk time of 16 hours.

Zen Mobile believes that the phone will come in handy in the rural areas where power cuts are a regular affair.

The phone is now available across India. Seeing its USP of long battery standby coupled with affordable price and decent specs, one can expect good consumption by the middle and lower range buyer.
