Samsung has officially announced its new budget tablet, Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (7").
Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (7") tablet sports a 7-inch display with a resolution of 1024x600p.
It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and packs 1GB of RAM. The tablet measures 193x117x9.7mm and weighs 310gm. The tablet comes with 8GB internal storage expandable via microSD card, and sports a 2MP rear camera. It doesn't feature a front facing camera.
It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. In terms of connectivity options, it supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. There is a 3G variant as well.
The tablet features a 3600 mAh battery and Samsung promises 8 hours of video playback time.
Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (7") will come in white and black colour variants and will be available globally.
Samsung has not revealed the tablet's pricing and availability details so far.
The tablet recently made an appearance on a Polish retailer's website with the WiFi version of the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite being priced at 500 PLN ($165) and the WiFi + 3G version available for 799 PLN ($264).
