Motorola Mobility has launched the Razr Maxx, the phone with a 3300 mAh battery delivering up to 17.6 hours of talktime, in India at a price of Rs 31,590. Motorola also announced that the 8.35 mm thin Razr V will land in India in Q3 2012.
Motorola Razr Maxx will be available with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and will soon receive an over-the-air upgrade to Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Motorola Razr V will be available with Android 4.0 at its India launch.
The Razr Maxx features a 4.3-inch 540x960 pixels Super AMOLED Advanced capacitive touch screen with 256 ppi pixel density. When compared to the Motorola Droid Razr, the phone has an extended battery life. The phone sports an 8 megapixel, autofocus, LED flash rear camera with 1080p video capture capabilities. It also also has a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera for video chatting.
