Epson Launches Stylus Photo Printer

Epson has released the Stylus Photo TX720WD printer, which it claims is the fastest printer in its line up. The printer is capable of up to 40 pages per minute for both black and colour (text only) and a typical 4 x 6 inch photo in 10 seconds. The printer succeeds the Epson Stylus Photo TX700W, and features new duplex printing module to save paper. Also included is a flat touch pad, which was missing in the predecessor.

The photo print mode can attain a maximum resolution of 5760x1440 dots per inch, thanks to Epson s proprietary Micro Piezo print head technology. The printer has individual ink cartridges to prevent wastage during replacement. Connectivity is included with wired Ethernet and wireless networking capabilities. It also packs in a flat bed scanner working at a resolution of 2400X4800 dpi. The printer is available now for Rs. 13,999.
