Mozilla's Firefox 4 Beta- faster version launched

Mozilla has released the latest version of Firefox 4 Beta, complete with faster speed for page loading and graphics. The new edition boosts the JavaScript performance, courtesy the addition of the JagerMonkey compiler.

Mozilla said the there is also more support for hardware acceleration for Windows XP and Mac OS X. In the graphics section, the Firefox 4 Beta also supports WebGL, a standard technology for running 3D graphics in a browser without the use of a plug-in.

Mozilla posted in its blog saying the improvements mean "pages load faster, interactions with Websites are snappier".

There are plans of launching additional betas before the launch of the final version of Firefox 4. Although initial plans of the company were to launch the browser this month but developmental delays have pushed the release to early 2011.
