PayPal had earlier said that Indian users of its electronic withdrawal services (EWS) would need to use cheque services instead as the electronic services had stalled (See: PayPal suspends transactions from India again).
But now it seems the problem has been sorted out and EWS is operational once again and users can avail the services as before.
Apologising for the inconvenience to Indian users on paypalblog.com, Dickson Seow clarified that those customers who did utilise the cheque services would still avail the $5 waiver from 29 July until further notice
