Government listed 42 Chinese Apps as Dangerous

The government of India issued an advisory to troops posted along the Line of Actual Control (LAC), the border with China, to delete some Chinese mobile apps from their smartphones, or reformat the devices altogether, to guard against online espionage attempts from across the border.

As per the advisory issued to officers and other ranks the use of these apps can be detrimental to data security with implications on national security. Inputs suggest that foreign intelligence agencies, especially from China and Pakistan, were using such mobile apps to break into smartphones and steal data.

The advisory from Home Ministry has listed 42 apps. Here's the full list.
