Microsoft is going to end the support for its Windows XP and Office 2003 on the 8th April 2014, now the question is why is this happening?
This is because, in 2002, a Support Lifecycle Policy was introduced by Microsoft, of which the purpose is to provide more transparency and predictability for the Microsoft products. And this policy was for only 10 years, which is now over.
You should start your planning to migrate to some other Windows Products because after the 8th of April no Security Updates, no Hotfixes and no other Technical Updates will be available for XP and Office 2003.
