For the second time, these two countries will host the biggest Cricketing Event ‘ICC Cricket World Cup‘. Previously, 1992 Cricket World Cup was successfully hosted by Australia and New Zealand and Pakistan become the World Champions for the first time. Australia won the ICC Cricket World Cup maximum time. No other cricket playing country,except Australia, have won this prestigious world cup for five times but they never won the cup in their own soil. This will be the great chance for Team Australia to clinch the Cricket World Cup in their home soil. New Zealand, the co-host of 2015 Cricket World Cup, never won cricket world cup and this will be a great chance for them to won this cup.
ICC has recently tied up with Castrol as their official Performance Partner till the end of 2015 Cricket World Cup. Currently Castrol is the only sponsors for the upcoming 2015 Cricket World Cup.
International Cricket Council have segregated their members into four major categories ie. Full time Members, Top Affiliate/ Associate Members, Associate Members, Affiliate Members. ICC have 10 full time members and they are automatically qualified to play One day Internationals and T20 Cricket Matches. These full time members also enjoys the rights to play official test matches between other full time members. Associate and Affiliate members doesn’t have rights to play official Test matches but they can play one day international matches based on their performance and success in World Cricket League. ICC have 35 associate members and 60 affiliate members. The Associate teams in World Cricket League 1 will play ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 qualifier in 2013 and only top four team will make it to the Mega event in Australia and New Zealand.
There will be total 14 teams to play the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be a fun for all cricket Lovers from across the globe.
