Idea Whiz comes with a 4-inch WVGA display. Under the hood, it has a 1GHz dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage of which 1.5GB is user accessible. The storage can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card.
The dual-SIM Idea Whiz sports 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera and VGA front camera.
Idea in its website says it is offering 3G data benefits and free Idea TV subscription for the first 3 months with a recharge of Rs 261. The states where it is available are- AP, Gujarat, HP, Haryana, J&K, Kerela, Maharashtra, MP, UP (W) & UP (E) circles. For rest of the circles 2G data benefits available.
The phone claims to offer faster internet browsing, email updates, games and smart applications and widgets, with 4GB internal memory and 1500 mAh powerful battery.
Earlier the company launched Aurus II smartphone, a 3G Android smartphone, which costs Rs. 6,490. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
