Nokia launches Asha 205 and Asha 206
Nokia has launched new Asha 205 and Asha 206 in its Asha series at low price in the Indian market. Both the phones are available in single SIM and dual SIM versions.

Nokia is trying to regain the lost market by the Asha series. Previous products have raised the sale a bit and with new launch and upcoming products Nokia expects to do some damage control.

Both Asha 205 and Asha 206 operate on Nokia's S40 operating platform.

Nokia Asha 205 is QWERTY phone with a 2.4-inch QVGA landscape TFT display that has a support of 65k colors.

The dimension of the phone is 113mm x 61mm x 13mm and weighs 94.0g.

It is topped with a 0.3 Mega Pixel primary camera. It comes with Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR and Nokia Slam feature to share content faster and easier.

It comes with a 10MB of Internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB using micro-SD card slot.
Dual-SIM version of Nokia Asha 205 has a 25 days standby time while the Single-SIM version has a 37 days standby time.

Nokia Asha 206 is an alpha numeric keypad phone with a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT display that has 65k color support.

It is topped with a 1.3 Mega Pixel camera. It comes with Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR and Nokia Slam feature to share content faster and easier.

It comes with 10MB of internal memory that can be used to expand the memory up to using 32GB micro-SD card slot.

The dimension of the phone is 116mm x 49.4mm x 12.4mm and weighs 91.0g
Single-SIM phone has 47 days standby time and Dual-SIM phone has 25 days standby time.
Price of both Nokia Asha 205 and 206 is around Rs. 3,000 - 4,000.
