Samsung Galaxy Chat available in India for Rs 8,499

Samsung's Galaxy chat smartphone is now available in India. The e-commerce site Saholic is selling the smartphone for Rs 8,499.

• The phone has a 3-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.
• The phone does not only have a capacitive touchscreen, but it also includes a QWERTY keyboard.
• The Samsung Galaxy Chat is 11.7 mm thick.
• The phone has a 2 megapixel rear camera. It does not have a front camera.
• The phone has a 4 GB built-in memory, which is expandable up to 32GB, using a microSD card.
• It includes a 1200 mAh Li-ion battery, which is said to offer up to 14 hours 10 minutes of talk time on 2G network.
• The phone runs Android v4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) operating system.
• Weighing 112g, the phone is available in Black and White colours.
