LG Optimus Pro coming to India this month

Seems LG Optimus Pro is on its way to the Indian market. Online retailers such as Flipkart are taking pre-orders for the bar shaped LG smartphone, which is expected to start shipping in the third week of September.

LG Optimus Pro is powered by an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM7227 processor and runs on Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread. It has a 2.8-inch display (240 x 320 pixel resolution), QWERTY keypad, a 3.15 megapixel camera with video recording at 24 fps, 256MB RAM and a 1500 mAh battery. It is priced at Rs 9,990 on Flipkart.

LG Optimus Pro includes a music player and video recorder, which supports MP3, AMR, AAC, AAC+ format as well as H.264/MPEG4.

The smartphone will compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Pro and Motorola Fire.
