A National Institute of Technology (NIT)-Warangal student has landed a job with facebook at a pay package of an astonishing Rs 45 lakh per annum.
The 21-year-old will join facebook’s technical wing as soon as he finishes his exams next March.
According to reports, students received offers ranging from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 20 lakh per annum so far.
The offer by facebook is a record of sorts for NIT-Warangal as it is the highest pay package offered ever.
Many of the major IT companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon and Oracle have visited the NIT campus for recruitments this year.
NIT Warangal has 790 B Tech students and 500 M Tech students.
