Lava Introduces Lava B8, a QWERTY Business Phone in India for Rs.5,299

Indian based mobile phones manufacturer, Lava has launched a dual-SIM QWERTY phone called the Lava B8 at affordable price. The phone promises to be a complete business phone by offering features PushMail, Wi-Fi, QWERTY keypad, track pad and long battery life. Lava stated that the phone will help professionals and young entrepreneurs stay connected and accessing their mails on the go.

The Lava B8 has a 2.3-inch TFT screen that supports up to 262k colors. It has an internal memory of 64MB and it supports microSD card of up to 16GB. Apart from WiFi and PushMail, the phone also supports dual-SIM and Bluetooth with A2D. As mentioned, the Lava B8 has a QWERTY keypad with TrackPad which we believe is an optical one.

It also comes with a 3.2 mega pixel camera with LED flash and for media playback; the phone plays MP3 and MP4. The B8 has a proprietary interface and it comes with Java games and there is also an inbuilt sensor that allows changing the songs or wallpaper by shaking the phone. There is also a Call recorder, and preloaded applications include Nimbuzz, Snaptu and Opera mini. Further, the phone will also enable users to remain connected to GTalk and Yahoo messenger. The Lava B8 is available at all leading stores and it is priced at Rs.5, 299. For those of you who still think the phone is slightly pricey, Fipkart currently has the Lava B8 for Rs3,999.
