Nokia Launches Budget QWERTY Phone X2-01 in India For Rs. 4459

We saw Nokia’s X2-01 in the news sometime back in November. The phone is now finally here in India and is primarily aimed at people who spend most of their time texting and on social network sites.

The X2-01 runs on Symbian’s S40 operating system and features a QWERTY keyboard. The phone also has an integrated email client that supports Ovi Mail, Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, Windows Live, Hotmail and other popular POP/IMAP services.

Here’s a list of other features that X2-01 boasts of:

  • 2.4-inch QVGA Display with a 320 x 240 resolution
  • EGPRS/WAP, USB 2.0 Connectivity
  • Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR
  • VGA Camera with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels
  • Memory expandable up to 8 GB
  • Stereo FM Radio with RDS Support

Apart from these, X2-01 also features support for Nokia’s Ovi store with additional apps, instant messaging with support for GTalk, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo! Messenger and others.
