Tata Indicom brings Voice Tweets to India

Tired of punching keys on your phone to update you status on Twitter? You can now relax as Tata Indicom has introduced new 'Call-n-Tweet' service for Twitter users to post updates quickly. All you have to do is sign up by using your Twitter account details and get started. This new Call-n-Tweet service is available to all subscribers of Tata Teleservices and Tata Teleservices Maharashtra via Tata Indicom - no matter what handset they use.

The service is pretty simple - sign-up, call regional Call-n-Tweet number, and hang up to post it in your timeline. So once you have signed up at callntweet.com, you need to call 50007 from your mobile handset, speak and hang up to post your Voice Tweet. The best part is that your updates won't be limited to 140 characters.

Do note that your Voice Tweets get posted publicly so anyone can access them. Thus, it is the best to avoid posting any sensitive and publicly offensive updates. To listen to other users' tweets, you'll have to visit callntweet.com.

Tata Indicom subscribers will be charged Rs. 0.80 per Voice Tweet.
