If you did not choose to install the product documentation during setup, you did not install the MSDN Library. The MSDN Library contains the Help documentation for all products in Visual Studio.
To use F1 Help, search, the table of contents, and other documentation features, you must either install Help locally or choose to use Online Help on the Internet.

To install Help for Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition and Visual Studio Tools For Office
- Insert the CD or DVD you installed Visual Studio from, or browse to the network share where you installed from.
- Double-click setup.exe.
- In the wizard, click Install Product Documentation. -- or --
- Insert MSDN Library Disc 1 and double-click setup.exe
- Insert MSDN Library Disc 1 and double-click setup.exe. -- or --
- Browse to the network share where you installed from and double-click setup.exe in the MSDN folder.
- On the Start menu, click Control Panel and then click Add or Remove Programs.
- Select the Express Edition you installed and then click Change/Remove.
- In the setup wizard, choose Add Optional Products and then click Next.
- Select Microsoft MSDN Express Library 2005 and then click Next.
- Specify whether you have the installation media or intend to download the documentation from the Web, and then click Install.
